DB Report. TDN Report. QB. TCU. MaxDuggan. #15. player. 872

Max Duggan isn’t the most highly-rated prospect, that is for sure. But if you watched his last couple of games then you know he is one tough dude. He has some traits that the Atlanta Falcons could use and develop. Not to mention, he was a Heisman finalist this year.

Many of the issues that scouts have with him are fixable. Arthur Smith has been known for his ability to fix flaws in quarterbacks (see Ryan Tannehill). He could identify Max Duggan as a diamond in the rough. Duggan has excellent mobility that the Falcons’ head coach has clearly coveted. The team could draft him as a long-term project.

As it stands right now, you wouldn’t have to use a high draft pick on him, so it would be a low-risk, high-reward move. He really has led TCU to the playoffs much like Desmond Ridder did with Cincinnati last year.
