1) Desmond Ridder has chemistry with Drake London but hasn’t found it with the others

Most of Desmond Ridder’s progressions in the passing game have consisted of Drake London, Drake London, and more Drake London. It is clear that the two rookies are comfortable with each other but the QB needs to get comfortable with the other guys.

On most plays when he drops back, he looks London’s way for most of the play, which is common for a rookie. He is just trying to stick with what he is comfortable with. His progressions will improve the more he plays—both in practice and games.

We also have to give him the benefit of the doubt because he isn’t exactly working with a receiving core that has Julio Jones, Mohammed Sanu, and Taylor Gabriel. He has Drake London, Olamide Zaccheaus, and not much else. This team needs to get Kyle Pitts healthy and add some more talent over the offseason.
