3 Atlanta Falcons the team must re-sign in 2023
By Nick Halden
Looking at the list of Atlanta Falcons 2023 free agents it becomes even clearer what a great job this front office has done at locking up what talent Atlanta does have. While players like A.J. Terrell and Chris Lindstrom will begin to look for extensions every high-impact player on Atlanta’s roster is locked up through next season.
Terry Fontenot and the Atlanta front office opted for short-term pain over the ability to lock up their stars and add talent long-term. While the reset has been painful the Falcons have improved when you consider where the team was before the current coaching staff and front office were put into place.
Atlanta is in a great position heading into the off-season with the ability to bring back any of their free agents they choose as well as make high-impact moves in free agency. With the ability to open around $80-million in cap space, it should be the most exciting Atlanta Falcons off-season in the last half-decade with the Falcons finally able to shop outside the bargain aisle again.
