3 risers and fallers from the Atlanta Falcons’ last-second win over Cardinals

It figures that the Atlanta Falcons waited until their first meaningless game of the season to snap their losing streak, but, nevertheless, winning always feels good.

It was a fast-moving game, especially in the first quarter when the Falcons hadn’t even finished their first drive before the expiration of the quarter. Much of that was the defense’s inability to get off the field, yet they did manage to limit the damage.

On offense, once again, the three stars were the rookies. Drake London only had 47 yards but still made an impact, Tyler Allgeier was the team leader in rushing yards again, and Desmond Ridder made another huge leap in his third game.

Last week, Drake London and Desmond Ridder were both on this list as ‘risers’, so we won’t be boring by having them on here, but they deserve a shoutout.

Sadly, this will be the second-to-last edition of this since Atlanta only has one more game left against the NFC South-champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. We will have to wait to see who steps up in that game.

As for now, here are three players who rose up and three who fell down for the Atlanta Falcons in week 17.
