The Atlanta Falcons are heading into an off-season full of questions after collapsing at the end of the season. No question is more important than whether or not the Falcons believe Desmond Ridder is the future at the quarterback position? Ridder has shown flashes but hasn’t put anything on tape to rule out the Falcons chasing another quarterback this off-season. Ridder might still prove to be the answer but all options should be on the table.

For Atlanta to chase a quarterback, however, it would have to be a player who has proven they are capable of influencing winning. Bringing in a star quarterback whether in the draft, free agency, or via trade should absolutely be an option.

Atlanta has both the cap space and the need Ridder hasn’t proven he is a star quarterback capable of carrying a team. If the Falcons aren’t going to bring in an all-star team around him there are four clear targets at the quarterback position for the Falcons starting with a hated rival that could change the culture in Atlanta.
