Atlanta Falcons join 31 other teams in support of Damar Hamlin

To describe what we saw on the football field on Monday Night as horrific would be nothing short of an understatement. Damar Hamlin was playing the game he loves and now he is fighting for his life for those he loves. The Atlanta Falcons have joined the rest of the NFL in supporting him through this awful situation.

Not only have the Buffalo Bills changed their profile picture to “Pray For Damar” but so have the Atlanta Falcons and all 30 of the other NFL teams.

We have never seen anything like this, both the horrific situation and the overwhelming support for Damar Hamlin. Every single NFL team, and the NFL, have now changed their Twitter profile picture to support Hamlin. The Falcons and others have even changed their Instagram picture.

What else can you say? Every team has removed its logo so that it can support Damar Hamlin. It is truly a heartfelt moment.

Hamlin’s family has even taken the time to release a statement that thanks everyone for all the love, prayers, and support.

We can only hope that he will have the opportunity to see the outpouring of support in the NFL community and elsewhere. All we want right now is to hear that he will be okay and to hear his voice.

If you are wanting to help in any way possible, his family said that you can donate to his charity which has now raised over five million dollars. 

There isn’t much the public can do to help Hamlin as we have to leave it up to the medical professionals, but you can go donate. Help the GoFundMe to continue to explode because Damar Hamlin would be so proud to see it. And, as always, keep the words of support and prayers flowing.
