3. Atlanta’s young talent

Due to Marcus Mariota’s struggles and how underwhelming Desmond Ridder has been thus far much of the attention on Atlanta has been about their quarterback situation. While this is understandable it is hard to not see the Falcons as an attractive landing spot to a top quarterback this off-season.

The Falcons can free up $80-million in cap space this off-season and have Kyle Pitts, Cordarrelle Patterson, Drake London, and Tyler Allgeier all locked up next season with three of those players still on their rookie deals. Add in an improving offensive line and Grady Jarrett and A.J. Terrell on defense and the Falcons are a very attractive landing spot this off-season.

It is an organization that is looking to make a playoff push in year three for Arthur Smith and will be unafraid to make splashy moves.

The front office has done a nice job of bringing in talent while keeping Atlanta’s cap space open and giving them the ability to go out and make the moves they need to win what should be a bad division yet again in 2023.
