Falcons: Three keys to beating Bucs & Tom Brady for the first time
Keys for the Falcons to beat Tom Brady and the Buccaneers in season finale
The Falcons will be wrapping up their rollercoaster season on Sunday as they take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Obviously, that means they have to go against Tom Brady, who they have never beaten.
If they want to escape the group of five teams—Patriots, Buccaneers, Cowboys, Vikings, Falcons—who have never beaten the future Pro Football Hall of Famer, then this is the time to do it. There is no guarantee that they will go head-to-head with him ever again.
Surprisingly, the Falcons are actually favored despite the fact that the Bucs have already stated that they will play their starters in what is a meaningless game for them.
Arthur Smith is also playing for the win as he has stated that he is never going to play for draft picks. After all, he is a head coach who was not hired to lose, so expect nothing other than the team giving their full effort to end the season 7-10.
The last time these two teams played, the Falcons kept it close and should have had a chance to orchestrate a game-winning drive but we all know what ended up happening. If they want to come out on top this time, then they need to do these three things.
