2. Can Desmond Ridder do anything in this game to win the role?

Desmond Ridder has improved in all three games he has started this season, however, it is hard to say the rookie has put anything on tape to win the starting role. Entering what will be a long off-season it seems doubtful there is anything Ridder could do in this game to show he is the franchise quarterback moving forward.

The only scenario that comes to mind is Tom Brady staying in the complete game and Ridder outplaying and outgunning the GOAT. If that happens Atlanta can have a real tangible reason to believe Ridder is the guy moving forward.

Outside of that very unlikely scenario there isn’t anything Ridder can do in this game that should change Atlanta’s perspective on chasing a top quarterback this off-season. Even if that means bringing in a Ryan Tannehill or a Jimmy G. Atlanta needs an upgrade at the position unless Ridder shows drastic improvement.
