Former Atlanta Falcons receiver Julio Jones is set to hit free agency this off-season when Tampa Bay’s playoff run ends. Jones has played a limited role on Tom Brady’s Bucs dealing with a myriad of injuries and playing behind Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. While Jones could change the way he is viewed with great playoff moments it seems the player Jones was two years ago is gone and forgotten.

Likely signing short-term deals due to his injury history and struggles the last two seasons Jones could be a bargain signing for the right team. While it won’t be a life-changing move for the Falcons they shouldn’t hesitate to be among the teams attempting to sign Jones this off-season.

Jones returning to Atlanta seems to be very possible when you consider Atlanta’s cap space and its need for veteran receivers. Add in what should be a limited market for Jones and a reunion isn’t out of the question with the reasons it makes sense very obvious for both sides.
