Pro Football Focus, a company that grades every NFL player on every NFL snap, has released its annual All-Rookie team for the 2022 NFL season. Included on the list are two Atlanta Falcons players on the offensive side of the ball, unsurprisingly.

The two Falcons players join a total of 22 rookies who made the team and were two of the three NFC South players represented.

The Atlanta Falcons 2022 draft class was able to put together a great year. They had five rookies who played significant snaps during the year. Their final two draft picks were the only rookies who did not contribute.

Two of their picks were studs throughout the entire year, that being their first-round pick Drake London and their fifth-round pick Tyler Allgeier. Their efforts earned them a spot on PFF’s All-Rookie Team.

The three wide receivers on the team were Drake London, Garrett Wilson of the Jets, and Chris Olave of the Saints. Here is what they said about the Falcons WR:

"London looks like another perfect fit for Arthur Smith’s offense. He made a ton of tough catches, going 14-of-26 (53.3%) in contested situations this season. He finished with 72 catches for 866 yards and showed a rapport with QB Desmond Ridder late in the season, posting a career-high 120 yards in Week 18."

Tyler Allgeier, on the other hand, was the lone player at his position to make it, which says a lot considering Dameon Pierce and Kenneth Walker were also studs.

"Kenneth Walker III ran for more yards and Dameon Pierce broke more tackles, but Allgeier ran away with it from a grading perspective. He was efficient when called upon, averaging 4.9 yards per carry, while his 3.58 yards after contact per carry ranked seventh among 60 qualifying running backs over the regular season. He’s a perfect fit for Arthur Smith’s run game."

Notably, Brock Purdy was the rookie quarterback representative over Desmond Ridder or Kenny Pickett. Obviously, with Ridder, the issue lies in the fact that he only played in four games.

Needless to say, the Atlanta Falcons made some great selections during the 2022 NFL Draft and they were already able to reap the benefits in year one. The sky is the limit for all of them, especially Tyler Allgeier, Drake London, and Desmond Ridder.
