The Atlanta Falcons have a tough decision to make this off-season at the quarterback position. With plenty of billboard names set to hit the market, Atlanta must decide how much they truly believe in Desmond Ridder moving forward.

If given the chance the Atlanta Falcons should bring a clear upgrade in Derek Carr to Atlanta

One upgrade the Atlanta Falcons could easily make is bringing veteran Derek Carr to Atlanta. Carr and the Raiders are parting ways this off-season and it seems likely the veteran could be traded for in a reasonable deal or force the Raiders to release him and give the Falcons a chance to land the veteran. Carr has the ability to pick his landing spot meaning the Falcons would have to sell the veteran on their team and franchise moving forward.

The reasons Atlanta should attempt to chase Carr if other top options aren’t interested in Atlanta are clear for a team that needs an upgrade at the position to be able to be real playoff contenders next season.
