3. Mecole Hardman

Mecole Hardman is another former Georgia Bulldog that would make a lot of sense for the Falcons as a third or fourth option for Desmond Ridder. If Olamide leaves in free agency the Falcons need a speed receiver who demands respect from opposing secondaries.

Hardman has 2,088 career receiving yards and 18 total touchdowns and the ability to stretch the field. Hardman wouldn’t be the veteran security blanket the Falcons should add for Ridder, however, he would be a great and affordable addition. If the receiver is willing to leave the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes the Falcons shouldn’t hesitate to pay what it takes to land the speedster.

Hardman has proven his ability to make game-changing plays and will be coming off of the worst season of his young career. It is the perfect time for the Falcons to sign Hardman and offer him the chance to return to Georgia. Of all the options when it comes to fit, and production Hardman makes the most sense and would offer a wrinkle in Arthur Smith’s rushing attack.
