The Atlanta Falcons front office has done a fantastic job locking up their star players and moving on from bad contracts. While Atlanta will deal with losing impact players all of their top ten players are already locked up for next season.

With the majority of Atlanta’s star players still on rookie contracts and Grady Jarrett and Jake Matthews given new contracts the majority of Atlanta’s focus will go on the draft and bringing in impact players in free agency.

Terry Fontenot and Arthur Smith noted at the start of the off-season that this year will be different for the Falcons. Now able to afford to build a complete roster and make a push to contend in what is a wide-open NFC.

The NFC South appears to be the worst division in the league heading into the off-season opening the door even wider for Atlanta. Though off-season moves could obviously change this it appears only the Falcons are in a position to make a playoff push this off-season and that will start with making tough decisions on their top three free agents.
