4. Teddy Bridgewater

Teddy Bridgewater is coming off of another injury-plagued season that should give Atlanta reason for concern before signing Teddy behind Ridder. While the injuries are a big concern his ability as a passer for a backup is enough to still consider signing Bridgewater. Teddy is the perfect option if the Falcons are very comfortable with Ridder and bring in another quarterback to develop on the roster or practice squad prepared for a Bridgewater injury.

Teddy has a 33-32 lifetime record despite playing for bad teams and often being forced into action in less-than-optimal circumstances. Bridgewater has 75 touchdowns to 47 interceptions and would be a perfect point guard option for Arthur Smith if forced into action.

Teddy by all accounts appears to be a great locker-room presence and could be a veteran leader helping Ridder as the young quarterback goes through his first full season as a starter in the league. If not for the extensive injury history this would be the best fit for Arthur Smith and the Falcons. The injuries, however, are far too concerning not to play a large role in the decision.
