3. Desmond Ridder needs to establish chemistry with receivers not named Drake London

If the Atlanta Falcons had three receivers named Drake London, then Desmond Ridder would have thrown for 1,600 yards in his four games, but unfortunately, that is not the case.

Ridder needs to use the offseason to learn the speed, patterns, and tendencies of each of his receivers. Just relying on Drake London each and every game can not be sustained, defenses will start tripling him if they need to.

Much of the work will come during training camp when he knows who his pass catchers will be. Olamide Zaccheaus, KhaDarel Hodge, and Damiere Byrd are all free agents, so we have no idea how the position group will stack up in June. The Falcons also need to improve the position or else they are hanging their young quarterback out to dry.
