The Atlanta Falcons are in a great position heading into this draft with the ability to pick the best player on the board with the cap flexibility to address any position they can’t fix in the draft.  With this in mind, it is completely possible the Falcons decide to trade down in this year’s draft if the right player isn’t on the board.

That is the case in this mock with Bryce Young, Will Anderson, Miles Murphy, Jalen Carter, and the best receiver prospect in Quentin Johnson all off the board before Atlanta’s number is called. Green Bay offered the Falcons far too valuable of a package to turn down moving down only seven spots while adding a future first-rounder and the 45th pick in the draft.

If the Falcons are offered such a package on draft day (which seems unlikely) it would be terrible to turn it down if the draft goes as expected and Atlanta’s top choices are already going to be off the board. Leaving the Falcons picking a surprising position of 15th overall.
