Tom Brady’s time haunting the Atlanta Falcons and the NFC South is over with the veteran retiring earlier this week. Brady retiring isn’t a move that will find many Atlanta fans feeling anything but excitement considering what Brady meant to the Falcons.

This in itself is the highest compliment for a quarterback who is obviously the GOAT and has put up numbers we will likely never see in our lifetime surpassed. Brady has an argument not just as the best quarterback of all time but the best athlete we have ever seen.

Brady retiring changes the landscape of the NFC South and should give Atlanta even more confidence that 2023 is finally the season the playoff drought ends and the Falcons become real contenders once again.

Atlanta has a clear argument as the best team in the division not only moving forward but as currently constructed considering the situations at head coach and quarterback for each team.
