Rashad Fenton, CB, Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons took a flier on Rashad Fenton by essentially trading him for Dean Marlowe. He took over for Cornell Armstrong, but it didn’t last long. They gave up on him quickly which should tell you what his future is.

Verdict: Walk

Mike Ford, CB, Atlanta Falcons

While Mike Ford might not be the most recognized player for Atlanta, he had an underrated role for them. At times he came in to play as a corner but for the majority of the season, he was one of their best special teamers. He provided energy to everyone around him and played his heart out.

He is a good depth defender, a great special teams player, and a fighter. Don’t believe me? Just go listen to the ‘Falcons in Focus’ podcast that he appeared on.

Verdict: Re-sign

Isaiah Oliver, CB, Atlanta Falcons

It was a slow start to the season for Isaiah Oliver who was coming off a significant injury. However, there wasn’t a player that raised their stock more than Oliver in the final two games. He was a totally different player and was arguably the best defender on the field in weeks 17 and 18.

He has reinvented himself as a quality slot cornerback. Terry Fontenot should make him an in-house priority-free agent. He shouldn’t demand too much money and could be a steal for Atlanta.

Verdict: Re-sign
