2. Jalen Carter

For the Atlanta Falcons to land defensive lineman Jalen Carter they are going to have to pull off a trade on draft day or have incredible luck. With nine picks in this year’s draft, the Falcons are in a great position to trade up if they are given the chance.

With C.J. Stroud, Will Levis, and Bryce Young all being discussed within the top five picks there is a chance the Falcons will have a chance to trade up and add a player in Carter who would have an instant impact in Atlanta’s defense improving the run defense and pass rush giving Grady Jarrett a far better chance to impact plays consistently.

As exciting as the quarterbacks are this season there is reason to argue that Carter is the can’t miss prospect who should be going within the first three picks and it is very possible that happens. Atlanta has surprised us each of the last two seasons with what they decided to do in the draft taking Kyle Pitts and Drake London in back-to-back seasons.

It is hard to believe this year is going to be any different perhaps the surprise this time will be pulling off a draft day trade that lands the Georgia defender and goes a long way in fixing Atlanta’s defense.
