The Atlanta Falcons have reason to feel optimistic about the 2023 off-season with Drake London, Desmond Ridder, and Tyler Allgeier leading the offense after their first full season together. Atlanta has three exciting players in the second year or their rookie contracts and plenty of cap space to improve the defense.
With this improvement, however, there will be pressure and expectations the Falcons haven’t had over the past three years. Atlanta no longer has a failed head coach or poor roster construction to hide behind. The massive dead cap hits are gone and with them come new expectations for the Falcons to compete in a wide open NFC.
