2. Foye Oluokun

The Atlanta Falcons lost Foye Oluokun not from a lack of trying to re-sign the backer but due to a lack of contract flexibility. If Foye was a free agent a season later there is no question he would be locked up to a long-term deal and still in Atlanta. As Deion Jones regressed and the Atlanta defense struggled Foye was going in the opposite direction and was one of the few bright spots on the defensive side of the ball.

Oluokun understandably followed the money and landed with the Jacksonville Jaguars last off-season. Foye proved to be a great signing helping Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars go on a late-season surge that ended with a playoff victory and a close loss to Patrick Mahomes.

Foye is a great fit for Jacksonville and a player many Atlanta fans will continue to pull for on a very likable Jacksonville team. A team that now has another former Atlanta Falcon who could have been the missing piece for Atlanta’s offense.
