1. The Baltimore Ravens cannot afford to let Lamar Jackson leave

The biggest reason a Lamar Jackson blockbuster trade isn’t going to happen is due to the team they have built in Baltimore. This is a team that is completely built around the run and a tough defense that should get even better next season. The one issue with this roster is the lack of receivers the quarterback can count on.

When Lamar Jackson is healthy this rarely matters as the quarterback will simply create space with his legs to either break a long run or create plenty of room for an average receiver to make a play. Outside of Mark Andrews, this offense is completely reliant on Lamar Jackson to work.

If Jackson is healthy during the playoff is there any doubt this team beats the Bengals and causes problems for the Bills or Chiefs?

This is a Baltimore team that is ready to win now and without Lamar Jackson, they are in trouble. Whether it is a historic contract or bringing in star players to help convince Jackson to stay it would be shocking to see the team part ways with the star quarterback. This isn’t a Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers situation with an aging star who could be in the final years of his career. This is one of the best quarterbacks in the league still well in his prime, Baltimore cannot afford to let Jackson simply walk away.
