If the Atlanta Falcons are going to build an offense around Desmond Ridder this off-season the offense is going to need to make at least four moves. The first is either bringing back Kaleb McGary or finding an answer at the right tackle position.

The next two will be adding depth at running back and tight end. While Patterson is a solid second option behind Allgeier Atlanta could use a third back that allows Patterson to go back into the utility role he played at such a high level.

After Kyle Pitts, the Falcons lack a proven tight end. Adding a second pass catcher at the position as the primary blocker allowing Pitts to play more of a receiver role is the best path and will allow Pitts to ease back into his role after a serious injury.

Finally, Atlanta needs to add at least one impact receiver to pair with Drake London. If you’re going to save money by starting Ridder the team owes it to him to build a complete team around him starting with adding a legitimate receiver that will take the pressure off of London.
