1. Will Levis

The Atlanta Falcons should only take a quarterback in round one if Bryce Young or C.J. Stroud somehow fall all the way to 8th. Trading up isn’t a great move for the franchise neither of the two quarterbacks who are possible 1st round picks after those two players makes sense for Atlanta. Levis is a solid prospect in many ways but lacks the usual level of winning and ball protection one would like to see from an NFL quarterback.

Levis has the talent but his ceiling seems low when considering the bust potential. Picking Levis in the first round at all would be a mistake much less in the top ten. Levis should be a day-two pick, not a player Atlanta is willing to build around.

While Young and Stroud could be clear upgrades over Ridder in one way or another Levis would be the opposite. Levis often gave up at the college level on passing far too early content to attempt to create with his legs. While Levis will be a good scrambler at the next level he isn’t elite enough to not take far too much punishment if his approach doesn’t drastically adjust. Add in far too many turnover-worthy plays and Levis shouldn’t be taken inside the top ten and definitely not by the Atlanta Falcons.
