4. Marcus Davenport, DE, New Orleans Saints

Marcus Davenport is widely considered the top edge rusher in this year’s free agency class, which is quite sad. But Davenport is still a talented player which is something the defensive line for the Atlanta Falcons needs.

He is usually the first guy listed on any site that has written a similar article, and for good reason. It is basically the same reason why Sheldon Rankins will be offered a contract. Terry Fontenot was in the front office with the Saints when they traded up to draft Davenport and Ryan Nielsen has been his posiitonal coach every year.

Factor in that there aren’t much better options for Atlanta to improve their pass rush, everything points towards Davenport flipping his allegiance in March.
