The excitement around the Atlanta Falcons has reached a level the team hasn’t seen since their infamous Super Bowl collapse six years ago. There is reason to feel optimistic with a roster full of building blocks, a top-ten draft pick, and the second-most cap space in the league.

Atlanta should make a splash in free agency early on focusing on improving their defensive line and adding weapons around Desmond Ridder.  Atlanta’s only real impact player they are in danger of losing is right tackle Kaleb McGary who the team could still franchise tag or re-sign this off-season.

The fact that McGary is Atlanta’s biggest off-season concern when it comes to their own roster speaks to what a great job this front office has done bringing in young talent and locking up veteran players.

Atlanta’s off-season might still be very young but already the team has made three moves that should have fans feeling even more optimism around a team looking to finally return to the playoffs in the 2023 season.
