1. Adrian Amos

Adrian Amos is set to hit free agency and would make a measure of sense for the Falcons if they are unable to land Jessie Bates or C.J. Gardner-Johnson to boost the secondary. Amos spent his first four years with the Chicago Bears before signing with Green Bay in 2019.

Amos wouldn’t have the star impact that Gardner-Johnson or Bates would, however, Adrian would be a clear upgrade that gave Nielsen and Gray a familiar piece to help lead the Atlanta secondary. Signing Amos would allow the Falcons plenty of cap space to re-sign Isaiah Oliver and keep Hayward on the roster.

Amos is a quick fix for the secondary if Atlanta wants to spend the majority of their cap space building the offense and attempting to fix the defensive line. Atlanta has interesting young pieces in the secondary who could prove to be contributors adding help in the back end and running it back with the same options at corner would be a solid decision for a team whose complete focus on defense needs to be finding edge rushers and bringing Grady Jarrett help in the middle of the line.
