3. Mike Davis

Mike Davis was viewed as a great signing by Terry Fontenot two offseasons ago adding a much-needed physicality to Atlanta’s rushing attack. Atlanta signed Cordarrelle Patterson as well a player that would quickly become a fan favorite and take over the starting role from Davis.

Davis finished the season with Atlanta with 503 yards and 3 touchdowns on the year. Atlanta let Davis walk in free agency opting to draft Tyler Allgeier and bring in veteran Damien Williams Davis signed with the Baltimore Ravens and appeared in only eight games managing 18 yards.

Davis was a bust of a signing for the Ravens following what was a disappointing tenure with the Falcons that now appears far better. Davis had his best season with the Panthers rushing for 642 yards and 6 touchdowns before signing with the Falcons. Baltimore being unable to utilize Davis a season after using Devonta Freeman as a part of their rushing attack speaks to the point that Mike is at in his career.
