3. Jadeveon Clowney

Due to the immense talent that Clowney had coming into the league the pass rusher has remained overpaid throughout his career. Clowney is arguably the most talked about edge rusher never to finish a season with double-digit sacks. As desperate as the Falcons are for pass rush help they could equal production without spending what it would take to land Clowney.

Three times in his career Clowney has finished the season with more than nine sacks and has 109 career quarterback hits. The pass rusher is a solid piece but one that is often overvalued whose immense talent has never completely translated into the expected production.

Clowney started his career with the Texans before leaving to spend time with the Seahawks, Titans, and Browns. After a great initial season with Cleveland, Clowney took a step back registering only two sacks and failing to make close to the impact he was expected to in his second season with the Browns.
