3. This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance for the Atlanta Falcons

Each offseason in the NFL has seemingly gotten crazier and crazier. There have been so many groundbreaking moves each year, but having a former MVP quarterback, who is only the second player ever with this skillset, available (or possibly available) in what is the prime of his career, never happens. Simple as that, this has never happened. Sure, Michael Vick was available following his time in the slammer but that was a totally different story.

The other part of this is that the Falcons need a quarterback. And it is just hard to wrap your head around this whole situation. The Ravens should have had him locked down over a year ago, but it seems like they have possibly given a team like the Falcons a chance to swoop in.

This is a position that you will never be in again, so how could you not at least entertain the idea?

Lamar and Vick are one-of-a-kind players, and being able to land one of them in their prime, no matter the cost, could prove to be worth it. Plus, it would rekindle the days of Michael Vick flying through the Georgia Dome, only this time, in a much nicer stadium.
