Wide receiver (7):

  • WR1: Julio Jones
  • WR2: Roddy White
  • WR3: Terance Mathis
  • WR4: Andre Rison
  • WR5: Alfred Jenkins
  • WR6: Brian Finneran
  • WR7: Devin Hester

As Atlanta Falcons fans we got to see the two best wide receivers in franchise history play opposite each other for numerous years, which was amazing.

Julio Jones is one of the best ever. His dominance, while he was in his prime, is almost unmatched. He routinely would torch defenses, especially the Eagles and Panthers. He was a generational-type player. And who could forget his 300-yard game against Carolina?

Roddy White didn’t get the proper farewell but he was a great player. He may have never been considered “the best” in the NFL, but that doesn’t take away the fact that he was super consistent as he had six-straight seasons with over 1,000 receiving yards.

Terance Mathis, Andre “Bad Moon” Rison, Alfred Jenkins, and Brian Finneran are all the next-best receivers in the history of this franchise. It makes for a ridiculous group as this is a franchise that has had little trouble, especially in recent times, at finding wide receivers.

As for the last guy, he is here for the special teams. Devin Hester is the greatest return in NFL history and he could provide some explosive playmaking on offense, but he would make his biggest contributions by getting the offense great field position.
