The perspective on the Atlanta Falcons in 2023 should be completely flipped for a team that should have a playoff spot in a weak NFC next season. To take a step forward Atlanta doesn’t have to win in the first round but simply prove they can win important games in the regular season and make it at least to the wildcard round.

With two seasons under Arthur Smith in the books and the second most cap space in the league along with their third straight top ten draft pick it is time for Atlanta to win. The Falcons have a last place schedule that should easily have the team making it to ten wins in the 2023 season.

For that to happen Atlanta is going to have to have a number of players step up on the current roster as well as hitting on their draft picks and free agent signings. Looking at the current roster and coaching staff it becomes apparent which Falcons are facing the most pressure in the 2023 season. Starting with Atlanta’s leader who has done a solid job but now must show he can take a step forward and win when the games actually matter.
