The Atlanta Falcons’ current starting receivers if the season started today would be Drake London and Frank Darby. London is clearly going to be a primary weapon next year but Darby has proven at best to be a depth piece.

Olamide Zaccheaus is set to hit free agency after a solid season as Atlanta’s second option. Bringing back Olamide is an option but the Falcons still need to add both depth and a starter to the position. Whether this is in the draft, free agency, or via trade Atlanta must improve a position that has been one of the weakest aspects of the offense for the past two seasons.

This is especially important if the Falcons are serious about building around Desmond Ridder. The second-year quarterback needs at least three reliable targets at the position. Drake London certainly counts as one and bringing back Olamide as the third receiver wouldn’t be a bad decision if the team adds a legitimate second option. Looking at the possible fits five players stand out as obvious fits for Arthur Smith and the Falcons’ offense.
