4. Robert Woods

Another potential option for the Falcons in free agency is veteran receiver, Robert Woods. Whether or not Woods is a fit for the Falcons depends entirely on how expensive his market proves to be. On one hand, you have a proven receiver with a great resume but teams will consider how the last two years with the Rams and Titans have gone.

Last year against the Titans shouldn’t be held against Woods considering the recent history at the position for the Titans and the quarterback injuries. Signing Woods as the second option at the position behind London to a short-term deal would be a good move for Atlanta. One that wouldn’t be as costly as signing Meyers or trading for Hopkins with a chance for close to the same production.

Woods put up two great seasons with the Rams surpassing 1,100 yards in both the 2018 and 2019 seasons helping push the Rams toward contention. In the three seasons since Woods has taken a step back in each year with injuries playing a large role.
