8. Hayden Hurst
Hayden Hurst was expected to be Austin Hooper's replacement after he was traded from the Ravens to the Falcons. Altogether, he was quite disappointing.
Injuries were a huge factor when he was in Atlanta. Hurst went on to sign with the Cincinnati Bengals and was their featured tight end for most of 2022. He didn't have nice things to say about Arthur Smith either but he did have a solid season with his 52 receptions for 414 yards in 13 games.
While those aren't crazy numbers by any means, they would have been welcomed this past year in Atlanta, especially following Kyle Pitts' injury. Now, the Falcons will have to shut him down in week one after he signed with the Carolina Panthers.
