3 Falcons who should lose their starting job during the NFL Draft
The Atlanta Falcons may elect to replace these current starters in the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft.
3. DeMarcco Hellams, Safety
DeMarcco Hellams is in an identical situation as Clark Phillips: a later-round selection who earned the right to start late last year but shouldn't be counted on as the game-one starter.
If Hellams is replaced in the draft, it won't be in the first round. The second round and on is when the decisions have to be made for this position.
The Falcons should go into the season assuming that DeMarcco Hellams isn't a starter. They need to look for a physical starter to help complement Jessie Bates in 2024.
