The Atlanta Falcons have recently been under fire from a somewhat surprising source. Cam Newton made an appearance on Shannon Sharpe's podcast Club Shay Shay. The podcast is a great chance for a myriad of famous personalities to sit down and dissect a number of subjects.

For Newton, this included the course of his career and Atlanta's decision-making. Newton's shots at Atlanta were surprising for one reason. They were clearly founded in frustration and a seeming wish to play with the franchise.

Cam Newton wasn't taking shots at the organization he long considered a rival. The former Carolina Panthers quarterback appeared more frustrated at the organization for not signing him. It was as if the idea of signing Kirk Cousins with other options out there was completely off the wall.

The decision was treated as if the Falcons had gone into this offseason and sent Joe Flacco a record contract based on his games with the Browns. There seemed to be very little respect for the quarterback that Kirk Cousins had been before the injury that ended his season.

If this wasn't enough the conversation veered from Kirk Cousins and Cam's career to Matt Ryan. Leaving three clear issues for Falcons fans with Cam's comments.
