2. Jalen Hurts

Which version of Jalen Hurts is going to show up in the 2024 season? Hurts was electric on the way to the Eagles Super Bowl appearance in the 2022 season pushing the team and creating with his legs. The leadership that he brings and the respect garnered is clear despite how last season ended for the Eagles.

An ugly finish resulted in a first-round exit to the Bucs and a fumbled division lead. Give the Cowboys credit for taking advantage but it was the Eagles' ineptitude that opened the door. A part of that was Hurts turning the ball over and failing to live up to expectations.

The player we watched in 2022 isn't someone that Kirk Cousins can compete with. Hurts able to use his gifts as both a runner and passer in perfect sync. Hurts first year as a starter and much of last season were a different story.

It wasn't simply the turnovers but the poor decision-making and inability to move the ball in big moments at the end of the year. This is a roster that is built to win now and another season like 2023 will have many questioning whether Hurts could be another Carson Wentz situation.
