Arthur Smith and Terry Fontenot have consistently ignored the Atlanta Falcons' depth chart at receiver during their tenure with Atlanta. Outside of drafting Drake London the team hasn't made any splashy moves at the position signing or trading for bargain players hoping they will be able to fill a starting role. Thus far outside of London, it is fair to say that scouting and bringing in impact receivers is a weak point for this front office.

While Calvin Ridley leaving did hurt the team's plan at the position Fontenot and Smith have had plenty of time to address it and their answers this off-season have been Mack Hollins and Scotty Miller along with a myriad of unproven fringe roster options.

Atlanta has continued to ignore the position despite having a great off-season and clearly getting ready to make a playoff push. Atlanta has added talent at pass catcher with Jonnu Smith and Bijan Robinson helping the passing attack from their respective positions.

However, it is clear that this team needed to do better at the very least bringing in veteran help to guide Atlanta's youth at the position. With extremely limited options left on the open market, it is clear the Falcons should turn to familiar faces bringing back either Sanu or franchise legend Julio Jones
