4 teams with more disheartening week 1 losses than the Falcons

The Falcons may have been bad but at least they weren't as bad as these teams.

Browns get stomped by the Cowboys 33-17

The score doesn't say it all, the Cleveland Browns, a team with high hopes coming into 2024, were trounced by the Dallas Cowboys as they got booed off the field.

Deshaun Watson looked like the same player they saw last year in limited action. The former Pro Bowler couldn't find his rhythm, partly due to some bad performances around him. Nevertheless, Watson still doesn't look like the elite playmaker they thought they were getting two years ago.

Then the defense, which was the best in the NFL last season, struggled to keep the Cowboys from producing efficient plays.

It all hurts more when you remember the amount of money they are paying their disappointing quarterback. Safe to say, the Falcons caught a break in 2022.
