4. Mike Hughes, CB
For as impressive as Mike Hughes was in the slot last season, he has been twice as impressive moving back to boundary corner.
This secondary has been balling and not enough credit has gone the way of Hughes—playing in the same backfield as Jessie Bates, Justin Simmons, and A.J. Terrell will do that to you.
I don't know what else to say, Mike Hughes has exceeded expectations. He was the question mark going into the season but he has quickly changed that into an exclamation mark. He has been the final key to what is one of the league's best defensive backfields.
