First round NFL mock draft 2.0: Falcons create top-five chaos with trade
2023 NFL Mock Draft: Picks 10-12
The New England Patriots trade back with the always-trade-happy Philadelphia Eagles in order to jump ahead of the Tennessee Titans to snag the fourth quarterback. Bill Belichick has not been the biggest fan of Mac Jones and with him being the general manager, he elects to look elsewhere as he tries to rekindle the success of the Tom Brady days.
The Titans lose out on a quarterback they would have likely taken, so instead, they go the route of fortifying those who protect the quarterback. Tennessee released Taylor Lewan weeks ago and now land a potential replacement for him at pick 11.
The Houston Texans make their second selection after they landed their franchise quarterback with the second-overall pick. This pick came from the Deshaun Watson trade and they use it on a talented defensive end in Lukas Van Ness out of Iowa.
