4. Kyle Pitts

Kyle Pitts is currently ranked as TE6 on ESPN and that seems appropriate based on the wasteland of options behind him. Pitts had an extremely disappointing sophomore season, and there are definitely lowered expectations around him as he goes into year three. Having Marcus Mariota as his starting quarterback last year played a massive role in his minimal production, but the team is hoping that him and Ridder can find a more consistent connection.

Pitts unfortunately seems like an option that leaves you screaming in celebration one week as he scores two touchdowns but then banging your head against the wall as he puts up two catches for 13 yards the next. There’s a chance he proves me wrong and is a consistent option every week, but the arrival of Jonnu Smith could also pull some targets away from him.
