With the sixth overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the Atlanta Falcons selected Jake Matthews out of Texas A&M. Since that time, he has started 145 games, made the Pro Bowl in 2018, and helped the team make the playoffs twice. Offensive linemen rarely receive the recognition they deserve, but Matthews has helped the team transition from Super Bowl contenders through a rebuild and will now aim to help the team make the jump from pretenders to contenders this season.
