Falcons seven-round mock draft: Round 3, Pick 79

Clemson. . . player. 432. Xavier Thomas. 3. Xavier Thomas. Thomas. EDGE

Xavier Thomas, due to injuries, did not have the college career he was expecting. He was a top recruit back in 2018 and could never stay on the field.

However, this guy can get to the quarterback. Thomas has exceptional athleticism. He can burst off the line in the blink of an eye, can turn the corner with such ease, and has a quick inside cut.

While he is a bit of a one-trick pony, we don't know what he is truly capable of. I know that injuries rarely get better in the NFL, but you should be willing to take this risk in the third round. He can be an elite edge rusher in the league if he can clean things up.
