Atlanta Falcons Depth Chart Predictions: Quarterback

"With free agency almost certainly at a close, we will go through every position and predict the depth chart in this series. First up is Quarterback."

Even with Matt Ryan at the helm the Atlanta Falcons still made a move or two (pending) to beef up the back-up QB spot, just in case.

1. Matt Ryan

The Falcons will go into the 2015 season with one of the best QB’s in the NFL at the helm. Ryan is coming off of yet another strong season and with Julio Jones still here, there’s plenty of room for excitement.

2. Matt Schaub

It seems that the Atlanta Falcons have put in an offer for Matt Schaub, and there is a very strong possibility that he will be a Falcon next season. If Schub were to choose Atlanta, he will provide a very solid veteran presence behind Ryan and give him some pointers on the sidelines.

3. TJ Yates

The Falcons re-signed Yates to another term this off-season, and for good reason. He showed he can play at a admirable level when asked to step on the field and obviously means something to the locker room.

CUT: Sean Renfree

Not enough room for the talented Sean Renfree, but he should be able to find work at another team.
