5) Nick Williams – WR

Nick Williams wasn’t on the field a ton for the Atlanta Falcons in 2015 but nonetheless it was still way too much. Williams just isn’t very good and won’t be needed with Mohamed Sanu and Justin Hardy ready to take the next step.

Will he secure a roster spot come next season? There’s a good chance but that doesn’t mean we will see him out on the field very much. We might see him on special teams, but not running routes for Matt Ryan.

As of right now, Williams would be Ryan’s sixth-best option behind Julio Jones, Sanu, Hardy, Jacob Tamme and Austin Hooper. that doesn’t bode well for the undersized receiver. As much as we want to see Williams turn out to be the Falcons’ version of Julian Edelman, it just isn’t going to happen.
