That was a very long week. I was bored not watching my Falcons last week. But luckily, tomorrow they return to action. They will travel to Philadelphia to take on the 3-3 Eagles.

From what I have seen from Philly, I have no clue what to make of them. The games they have won were all incredibly close. Their first win was against a very weak Cleveland Browns team. The Eagles were a heavy favorite in that game, as most would expect. What not a lot of people expected was the final score. They took the game by 1 point, 17-16. They then hosted Baltimore. They took that game, but again by only 1 point. There other win came after a loss at Arizona. They took on the Giants, and pulled off a win by 2 points. The common theme here is there margin of victory. They have won by a total of points. That is incredible. Let’s get on to match up #1.

Michael Turner vs. Lesean McCoy- I feel I have a re-occurring  theme. I pick against Turner almost every week. I am not going to break the theme this week. If you have read any of my past articles, you know exactly how I feel about Michael Turner. I only think Turner is a good option if they use him in moderation. As for LeSean McCoy, I hope they use him in moderation. McCoy is a true stud. The Eagles don’t use him enough. Advantage- Eagles

Matt Ryan vs. Michael Vick- Vick can be described this season in one word. That word is turnovers. He can’t seem to hold on to the ball, and he can’t complete to his own team. He has thrown 8 interceptions, and fumbled 9 times. 17 total turnovers is unacceptable. That number is insane for only 6 games. Matt Ryan just came off his worst game of the season last week. He didn’t seem like himself. I felt he wan’t ready, and underestimated the Raiders. This week, he is going to be fresh and hungry. Expect a sharp, MVP-like performance from Matt Ryan against the Eagles. Advantage- Falcons

This game will be one to tune in to. Andy Reid has never lost a game coming off a bye week. I know for a fact his Eagles will be on their top game. Reid has had too long to examine the Falcons. There is plenty of film on how to beat the Falcons. Just put together the components from the Panthers and Raiders game and put it together, and there is your formula. It isn’t that easy. You have to know that Atlanta will have studied there film too.

I have to say, I don’t think the Falcons will face their first loss this week against the Eagles. I have a feeling about this game. I think we click on more cylinders than we have yet all season. I expect a huge game from Julio Jones and Roddy White this week. I also expect Tony to show up more than he did against the Raiders. If they can’t control the Eagles’ run game, it could get ugly for the wrong team.
