By Sam Kweon
It’s no secret that the Atlanta Falcons also have a strong running game matched with their dynamic aerial attack.
The past few games however, you didn’t see much of Steven Jackson, Jacquizz Rodgers, or the pair in Devonta Freeman and Antone Smith. Why? Because they didn’t need it. Why throw

But the Minnesota Vikings are just built to slow down Matt Ryan and his offense. They currently hold the 12th best pass-defense in the league, while only allowing an average of less than 250 yard per game to an opposing quarterback. Their run defense on the other hand is in the bottom half of the National Football League at 17th.
And get this….Chad Greenway isn’t playing.
For all you fans that don’t know who he is, just think of a San Francisco 49ers defense without Patrick Willis. That’s the impact that Chad Greenway holds to this D, especially plugging the gaps for the run. Even with his serivces, they were still one of the worse run stopping teams…

The depth of this running back group will be too much for the Vikings. Starting back Steven Jackson is a power runner that can tire defenses pretty quickly. Jacquizz Rodgers loves to run between the tackles, and the little Dirty Bird is almost impossible to find in the midst of all the action due to his small size. Antone Smith has the ability to break a 50 yard run from anywhere, and Devonta Freeman’s production is undeniable if given the chances.
